Dennis Corpuz is an underwater macro photographer based in Anilao, Philippines. His passion for underwater photography has led to numerous awards in international underwater photo competitions, including Asia’s International UW Photo Challenge and Abyss City of Venice in Italy. He won The Emory Kristof Award of Excellence and was awarded Runner-up in the Animal Behavior category in the Ocean Geographic competition. He received The David Doubilet Award of Excellence honorable mention in this year’s Ocean Geographic Master Portfolio 2023. He has been a regular winner for four consecutive years and was recently awarded champion in Blackwater at one of the most prestigious underwater competitions, The Ocean Art Competition 2022. He is also a four-time champion in the Annual DOT International Live Competition conducted by the Philippines Department of Tourism. Dennis actively participates in online shootout competitions globally, conducts photographic classes and workshops, and organizes dive trips in the Philippines.
